Brazilian
Coffee
| Brazil,
the home of Crazy Crow Coffee Company’s 5000 acre
coffee farm, is the world’s biggest producer of
green coffee beans. Brazilian coffee is characterized
by diversity in tastes depending upon the geographic regions
of the coffee’s origin. |
 |
Most
quality Brazilian coffee comes from the state of Minas Gerais.
Arabica coffee from Minas, considered to be of higher quality
than Robusta coffee, is judged to be the top grade Brazilian
coffee, and therefore there is brand awareness and increased
demand for this grade.
 |
The
award winning coffee bean raised and utilized by Crazy
Crow Coffee Company is this highest quality Brazilian
Arabica and comes from Minas, where our fair trade coffee
farm is located. |
We
use the top 30% of hand-picked beans. The result is a coffee
that produces more crema and body, adding sweetness and providing
a great backdrop for Crazy Crow’s feature coffees. Our
Brazil beans can be nutty, sweet, low-acid, and they develop
exceptional bittersweet and chocolate roast tastes.
Crazy
Crow uses a slow-roasting technique to extract a sweet, caramelized
flavor, while never scorching the beans, for its principal
Crazy Crow lines of Brazilian Light, Medium, Dark and Turkish
Roast blends.
This is something new for Americans, who became accustomed
to coffee that was intentionally over-roasted, therefore too
bitter. We maintain a strict quality control procedure to
insure a uniform and consistent roast, time after time.
